Urgent Need for Leash Law in Montgomery County

In light of the recent mauling and death of a 64 year old resident in her neighborhood by two
Pit bulls, it is time for an enforceable leash law in Montgomery County.
We propose that it be unlawful for any person owning, keeping, or maintaining a dog in this county to intentionally or negligently allow the dog to run at large. Any dog not confined
Or not under actual physical control of its owner, leaseholder or keeper,shall be presumed to be running at large.
