Unregister a Sex Offender that deserves a 2nd chance

When I was 15 and my husband was 21 at the time I got pregnant with our daughter. When my parents found out I was pregnant they were upset as any other parent would be, and found out then what my husband's age was and file charges for sexual assault to a minor. He got charged and was sentenced to 5 years. In that five years I raised our daughter by myself but with the help of my parents and when five years came up he got out and had to register under the Texas law. Soon after he got out I was pregnant with our son then fast forward a few years later we got married in December 2016. He still has to register under Texas laws and because he is a registered sex offender it has been a difficult process trying to find a place to live with our children without the registry floating over our heads. We live in a strict judgmental town. I am petitioning today to have this removed from his record because we are married now because I was the victim of his case it should be thrown out.
