STOP THE SALE OF FIREWORKS!!!!

Once again my dogs have been tramatized to their very limits with fireworks going off on our door step. No matter what precautions I take they just can not hide far away enough from the noise / explosions. As pretty as fireworks may seem to those using them, spare a thought for the poor animals with heightened hearing that must go through the abuse of the explosions. As far as I ca ascertain, fireworks in most countries are banned, why do we still allow them to be sold??????
