GVTC has long under performed, and charged far too much for their subpar services. Whether it is for cable or internet, they fail to meet modern needs for faster data speeds and don't provide satifactory customer service at all. Their slow internet speeds, constant outages, and lack of quality television channels have left many families and companies stuck with sub-par services and no alternative ISPs in towns like Boerne and Bulverde, effectively creating a monopoly in the area for GVTC.
Our city leaders have allowed this company to take advantage of us for far too long, and I for one and tired of this. I am not going to suffer from this inept company any longer! I feel it is time to make sure they know we will not accept mediocrity and make them work to satisfy their customers, and keep pace with modern advances in technology.
I want more choices for an ISP and I want the local governments in Boerne and other cities like Bulverde to no longer be complicit with allowing GVTC to hold a monopoly, and in turn, rip-off many hard-working people. This is a disgrace to our tax-payers, and cripples companies that rely on their services. This needs to stop now!
