The Petition 📜 Is About Putting A Ban To New York State Regents 🚫✏️✒️. NYS Education Department is just setting us up for failure. It makes no sense at all. NYS is the only state that does regents and set high expectations and expect everyone to meet them. Like everyone is the same. How they expect us to reach them when most these damn teachers in NY aren't teaching like they should. When Nyc DOE come to most of their classes they wanna pretend like they teaching and go back to the Nasty habits of not teaching after they leave. I just don't get it .
Regents exams are no longer needed to ascertain that students have learned enough to go on to college.
Even more prevalent among is the position that it's not uncommon for students to coast along during the school year only to consume past Regents exams and learn the course on their own in the last weeks before the June exams.
