Malibu Urgently Needs a Skateboard Park !

Papa Jack's Skate Park was closed in October 2011 to the dismay of the community. The lot still sits empty waiting for permits. The city council promised the youth and the community at large to prioritize building a state of the art skate park that would serve the community and beyond. The city has not been able to put together a real plan to expidte creating a skateboard park TO SERVE IT'S YOUTH. Many small communities have skateboard parks:Ojai, Encintas, Moorpark, Oxnard, Santa Barbara and many more. The Topanga Community already has a plan in place to put a skate ramps at their community house in the next few months. PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION TO TELL THE CITY COUNCIL IT IS TIME TO PRIORITIZE BUILDING A SKATE PARK IN MALIBU. Thank you.
