Don't Deny Valedictorian Diploma for Using "Hell" in Speech!

Kaitlin Nootbaar, a Oklahoma high school valedictorian, has been denied her diploma for using the word "hell" in her graduation speech.

A straight-A student that has worked hard to earn that spot at the top of her class and a full scholarship to college, included the word during her Prague High School graduation ceremony when talking about her response to people when asked about her plans after graduation. She said, "How the hell do I know? I've changed my mind so many times."

The audience laughed and clapped, but when she went to get her diploma, the school said that in order to receive it she would need to write an apology for using the word.

Please tell Prague High School to give Nootbaar her diploma and to change their policies concerning free speech!

Dear Prague High School,

Recently, Kaitlin Nootbaar was denied her diploma for using the word "hell" in her graduation speech, and won't get it unless she writes an apology. Nootbaar was the valedictorian of her class and worked very hard not only to earn that, but also a full scholarship to college. She deserves her diploma.

Please giver Nootbaar her diploma and change Prague High School's free speech policies.
