SAVE Orangutans - say no to palm oil

We will be responsible for the extinction of the orangutan if we don’t act now.

Palm oil is in most foods, shampoos, toothpastes and many other things. Consumption increased by 50% in the five year period from 2004 to 2009, and is expected to double by 2020. I will not buy anything with it in (knowingly), I read labels.

But how can you help? Complain to your supermarkets. And the next time you go to the supermarket check the labels on your favorite snack foods. If the words "palm oil","palm kernel oil" or “Elaeis guineensis” are in the ingredients section, try not to buy it. Buy an alternative.
