STOP DESTRUCTION of THOUSANDS of TREES in Palm Beach County

Palm Beach County, Florida has decided to remove thousands and thousands of trees (County wide) that line our streets - rather than maintain the sidewalks.

However, WE are the guardians of this earth!

Thinking the answer is to destroy living things that sustain wildlife, the environment and our quality of life is unbelievable.

Cutting down a tree is better than fixing a crack in the sidewalk?  Come on people - we CAN'T accept that!

• Palm Beach County controlled which trees were planted where in new communities
• Palm Beach County then placed the sidewalks right next to those trees
• Instead of regularly resurfacing sidewalks, many have been left to deteriorate for decades
• There is extensive sidewalk damage where there are NO TREES
• Uneven and patchwork sidewalk repair often creates equal if not more of a safety threat 
• What is the county spending $1 million dollar repair on - what quality control is in place?

CUTTING DOWN OUR TREES IS NOT THE ANSWER!
