CPS Lies and Manipulates the system...

We are speaking out in regards to a case that my fiance Alex and I are involved in with CPS. This is only a small portion of what we have dealt with. The case was opened via CPS on him and his ex wife. It involves their 2 little girls ages 3 and 7. I was ordered via the judge to follow the ISP plan due to Alex living with me. When Alex and I received a phone call from the mother in December of 2013 we discussed the matter and decided to take on the case due to the mothers negligence. Alex and the mother had a former agreement that she would fight and gain custody and he would pay her child support. The mother stated that she no longer wanted to fight for the girls. After discussing this with Alex we decided to move our family from Missouri to Oklahoma to fight CPS for his little girls. Our family includes the two of us and my three children ages 15, 13, and 9. Two boys and a girl, which have become very emotionally involved with this case as well. It is hard to tell my own children why their step sisters are still in fostercare, rather than at home with us. We moved to Oklahoma and have been working the plan since January of 2014. We have had many obstacles in this case and feel that enough is enough. We were ordered to follow the ISP plan and that we could reunify upon completion. We have went through 4 different agencies and completed tons of drug screens including a hair follicle. All of which have been negative. We have had many issues with visitations and cooperation of the CPS Caseworkers. Due to the issues, we filed a grievance on them with some policies and procedures stapled to the back of the form with highlighted areas that are not being followed. We just had a court hearing on April 2nd 2015 and have completed the entire ISP with certificates of completions on areas that are above and beyond what had been asked of us. The recommendations of our counselor was that the children be reunified and for us to start child parent therapy immediately. The caseworkers then told the judge that the agency was not through the attorney generals office and that they wanted us to retake the assessments that we have already completed. The first assessments cost us $75.00 a piece and that they wanted us to go through yet another agency to retake the assessments. This is going to cost us another $125.00 a piece and we only have a month to do this. In our ISP it states that the agency must be an approved agency through CPS/DHS. When our attorney brought this up to the judge it was unclear to the judge as to why, but there was no original ISP plan filed with the courts. We have not had any house visits since May of 2014. Which brings us to believe that the caseworkers have no intentions of giving us our children back. We are at a loss of what we can do. We have decided to take this a step further and go public and try to get our children back as quickly as possible. If there is anything that you can do to get this out to the public we would greatly appreciate it. We spoke with another attorney on this matter and he informed us that he would charge a great deal to take our case, but he clearly understands our frustration. He gave me some tips to use for court, but it did not work as our court appointed attorney tried to make these points clear, but wasn't heard. The case is out of Purcell, OK and from what I hear this is not something new taking place. The judge even said that this seems to be an ongoing problem. The parents complete the ISP and the caseworkers add more as they go. I am truly concerned that many people that are in the same shoes as us are losing their children for no good cause. Everyone makes mistakes, but it is how we correct them that matters. Please help us.

Oh yeah and not to mention that the judge could not even find an original ISP plan in the court files. Great system we have here.

Need everyone's help to stop this type of problem in the system. It has been going on way too long and their are families being torn apart rather than reunited.
