Emma Czornobaj has been convicted on two counts of criminal negligence causing death and two counts of dangerous driving causing death when a motorcycle (that was speeding) slammed into her car that was parked on the side of the highway so she could rescue some ducklings that were crossing. She was pulled over as far as she could and had her hazard lights on. Andre Roy and his daughter Jessie were killed when they hit her car. She could receive a life sentence for doing something that I (being an animal lover) would have done, had I been in her situation. She had never been in trouble with the law before, and she was just doing what she thought was right. Andre Roy's widow has already forgiven Emma, we need to tell Superior Court Justice Eliane Perreault to do the same and release Emma for something that was just a tragic accident.
