The Time Is Now - Oakland is Ready for Claire's House

Every night in Alameda County, there are approximately 1,000 unhoused children seeking shelter. Within the first 48 hours of being out on the street, a homeless child is approached by a trafficker. Manipulative traffickers are often the only ones offering our youth food, clothing, and a place to come in from the cold. And for these basic needs, our children are paying a horrendous price - being bought and sold to adults for sex.

Claire's House is a therapeutic living community for child survivors of human trafficking in Oakland, set to open in 2018. The 12-bed residence will support girls already on a journey from victim to survivor to thriver. We will provide opportunities for life AFTER crisis.
