Tell North Carolina to Ban Coyote Hunting

Due to a rule change that allows for night hunting, many coyotes are being killed, as well as the critically endangered Red Wolf, because it is hard to tell the difference between the two species, even during normal daylight hours.

Coyote hunting is driven by fear and misunderstanding as people still carry their beliefs that top-level predators are dangerous and must be eliminated. Coyotes are a vital and natural component of ecosystems, and should not be killed

Killing coyotes is unjustified and should be stopped immediately. Ask the Governor of North Carolina to implement a proactive, humane program that prioritizes coexisting with, rather than destroying, coyotes- and causing the extinction of the red wolf.
