please sign this petition to have Chuck Laughridge removed from the NCDMF ASAP!

Chuck Laughridge has absolutely no business being on the board of NCDMF! He is a former member of the CCA! And anyone that is associated with a group such as that should NOT have any say so in what goes on in our waters what so ever! The whole NCDMF board has been set up to monopolize the whole system! Leaving our state helpless and our commercial fisherman becoming extinct!!! Our economy on our NC coast is failing because of the 197 proclamations that are put out each year by this board and it starts with Dr LOUIS and the next up is Chuck Laughridge!!!! That is the last thing we need! We cannot let Louis step down only for him to be replaced with someone even worse then him! They BOTH need to go! Immediately!!!! And the board needs to be of equal parts rec and equal parts commercial! And that doesn't mean "my husband holds a commercial license" that should mean the very person sitting on that board holds the license!! Just because my wife is a hair dresser doesn't mean I can do hair! As of right now, some of this commercial seats are held because their spouse has a commercial license!! THAT IS NOT RIGHT!!! These things need to be taken care of NOW! And FIXED!
