Speaking as a person of color I am tired of having momentary outrage & not doing anything moving forward about issues that concern my community. I know to some this might be a blip on their radar but to me this is one of the many countless disrespectful and insensitive acts that has gone unchecked and balanced towards my community. Recently a reporter at Fox 5 made some very insensitive and callous remarks regarding Nipsey Hussle a pillar of the African American community. This man recently passed away due to gun violence and the nation, his family & friends continues to mourn him. I know this small blip might go unnoticed but at least I feel some resolve in doing something instead of doing nothing. Hopefully there are other people out there that feel the same.
