Make Congress Support Affordable Medicine

Medicine is supposed to be life saving or life supporting. Many skip or go without their prescription because they cannot afford it. Congress needs to support the Right To Medicine Act which would restrict costs on all prescription drugs to include cancer and chemo.
Big pharma can charge what they want for the first five years which allows them to recoup costs of research and development. We are seeing huge cost increase of drugs on the market for 20years! After that 5 year mark legislation should restrict drug pricing so that it cannot exceed more than 30% above costs. This allows plenty of business incentive but not the 500% increase of Epi-pen or the 5000% increase of Diaprim. Legislation shall not remove drug patents or allow them to exceed 20 years. Generic drug manufacturing is necessary to keep monopolies from the market.
