Parental Alienation

Parents that aren't seeing their children as a result of a relationship breakdown or separation and are having to wait months in sum cases up until a year until the case for contact can go to court.
My concerns about this is it has a huge lasting impact on both the children and the parent ( In most cases it's the father ) a lot of times it leads to mental health problems and also can lead to to suicide
The laws need to be changed to stop parents being alienated from their children as children shouldn't be used as weapons when a relationship or marriage ends
