European Union, animals are no things, they´re feeling beings and have to be protected!!!

Animals are still treated like things in the European Union, not only here in Germany, this has to change, they´re living beings who can feel pleasure, love, pain and empathy and need to be protected, it´s unbelievable that killing a pet´s punished like destroying a car or some other thing!!!
