This petition is to bring awareness about the importance of marijuana legalization and to create a platform for those who advocate towards socially accepting a natural substance that can do good if meticulously controlled and under the right circumstances be utilized for health conditions. Over the years, medicinal marijuana has been gradually implemented and had introduced new ways to fasciliate treatment for health conditions such clinical depression, epilepsy, manic episodes, chronic pain, and cancer. Although medicinal marijuana hasn't been an immediate response to treatment, it has acted as a secondary action plan if other options are not as effective. The objective is to lessen and manage pain from those who have these health conditions and improve their overall quality of life as much as possible. In a case study where 984 patients reported to have general pain, all of them consumed THC and ultimately, the end result was two thirds of people were said to have felt pain relief. Even though medicinal marijuana may not be effective for all, it can be life changing to those who need it. My objective here is to gather as many signatures to support the legalization of medicinal marijuana and voice our words through action and dialogue and correct the misinformation that has been spread.
