Palm Oil

Palm Oil plantations have destroyed rain-forests of Indonesia and Malaysia, other countries like Cameoon have seen forests damaged beyond repair. Orang-utans have been burnt to death by people destroying the forests by having petrol poured over them, a ban on palm oil imports into U.S. and E.U. would slash demand thereby eliminating the need for further palm oil plantations.
Farmers in U.S.A. and E.U. would benefit by growing alternatives such as canola and sunflower oil and proposed destruction of forests in Myanmar and other Countries would be prevented
