ENFORCEMENT OF THE BARBADOS - CHAPTER 144A PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS

It is of great concern to animal welfare advocates that CHAPTER 144A PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS, is not being enforced in Barbados to any satisfactory level. Therefore, we have created this petition, requesting that the Animal Cruelty Laws of Barbados be properly enforced by the relevant authorities. We also request that Standard Operating Procedures be established, that will allow the public to anonymously report animal abuse to the police and authorities, who can then investigate and take immediate action as deemed necessary.
