Stop subsidies to the meat industry

Every year millions of taxpayer dollars are being used to help and expand the needless slaughter of farm amimals across the country, through no-intrest loans and grants to producers, slaughter houses and marketing agencies to promote and expand an industry that contributes to an increase in health care costs and enviromental damage. Help send a message to Ottawa that this money should be going to promote healthy eating choices and the environment, not the enviromental destruction and inhumanity that animal farming contributes to our beautiful country.
