Lee Road has become a haven for drug dealers, drug addicts, prostitutes and panhandlers. The Motel 6, Countryside Inn, Quality Inn, Intown Suites and Eurotel, as well as the 7-11 at Adanson have become the stomping grounds for these activities. All of this criminal activity breeds other criminal activity such as residential burglary, auto burglary and stolen vehicles throughout the communities in which we live. We need change! We need our elected officials to revitalize Lee Rd., and make it safe and comfortable for the people that are living there and raising their families there. We do not need to advocate drugs and crime and turn a blind eye as these types of activities take place in our community. Our elected officials should not be making it easy and comfortable for those that lead a less than reputable lifestyle to live here.
Businesses are boarded up along the west side of I-4 on Lee Rd. and have been for a long time. At one time, we had thriving businesses on Lee Rd. Now, due to the crime and the poor dilapidated appearance of Lee Road, we cannot get reputable businesses to move here. Lets stand together and band as a community to let our elected officials know we are fed up with their lack of representation and allowing Lee Road and the Northgate Shopping Plaza to become so incredibly run down and riddled with crime, drugs and prostitution .
Please sign this petition demanding Mayor Teresa Jacobs, Commissioner Bryan Nelson, Commissioner Ted Edwards, as well as Diann Worzalla-Director of Hotels and Restaurants, and Sector One Captain of the Orange County Sheriff's Department-Denise Demps, CLEAN UP Lee Road and the condemned Worldwide Deliverance Church at the Northgate shopping plaza and make our community a safe place to live and raise our families again. Lets get thriving businesses to come into our community again. Lets get rid of the hotels and revamp the Adanson 7-11! We need your help to revitalize and transform Lee Road!
