Galesburg Education Association Contract with 205 Board of Education

I, the undersigned, have read the Galesburg Education Association’s demands of the Board of Education.  I understand they are asking for: Just Cause, a combining of their recall groups 3 & 4, contract language that notifies teachers of unsafe conditions within the classroom without violation of HIPPA law, a continuation of the teacher and paraprofessional retirement incentive, fewer early dismissal days, and finally a minimal raise on their salary schedule with a contract length of two years.  As a tax payer I demand the Board approve these requests, sign their contract, and allow the teachers and paraprofessionals return to the classroom with ALL days made up immediately.
