The Lundy house (circa 1860 and once a stagecoach stop/hotel) located at 106 Depot Street in Lexington, Mississippi, has been scheduled for demolition on August 26, 2019, by the current owner of the house, Holmes County Bank.
We, the undersigned, stand in support of preserving this historic house, which is listed as part of the Lexington Historic District in the National Register of Historic Places.

The community is working hard to save the Lundy house from demolition. We now have quotes from house moving contractors and know our fundraising goal for phase 1 of moving the house is $60,000 by Nov. 1.
