Women Farming Palm Oil Are Being Raped And Sexually Abused While Top Beauty Brands Profit

In countries like Malaysia and Indonesia, there are women farming palm oil who are being subjected to constant sexual misconduct by male employers and other workers. This is an abuse of power and these women should not have to suffer this injustice at the hands of these monsters!

Sign this petition and demand the Indonesian and Malaysian Government enforce stricter laws surrounding sexual harassment and abuse on palm oil plantations!

Women are speaking out about this sexual abuse and describing how they are taken into remote parts of the palm oil plantantions by their bosses and raped, sometimes with an ax to their throats and no one to hear them scream. Girls as young as 13 are being forced to endure this torture and there is currently no law in place to stop this from happening or hold anyone accountable. Palm oil is found in everything from potato chips, pills to pet food and also ends up getting used by some of the biggest cosmetic and beauty names such as Loreal, Unilever, Procter and Gambel, Avon and Johnson and Johnson. The conditions these workers endure, stand in stark contrast to the female empowerment messages these companies advertise.

These women and children are suffering ill health, miscarriages, rape and unwanted pregnancies in silence and are in constant fear of deportation and job loss. Act now and be the voice these women so desperately need!
