Veteran’s Cannabis Wellness Centers - Alternative to Opiates

50 Veterans commit suicide each day. Conventional treatment for PTSD, Depression, Bi-polar Disorders, Diabetes, etc. using opiates have proven to be ineffective and cause chemical dependency.

With recent breakthroughs in cannabis medicines, Veterans can mitigate the need for pharmaceuticals with a low-cost alternative, organic cannabis medicines, which have been medically proven to treat symptoms plaguing Veteran communities.

The Senate Appropriations Committee voted 24-7 to include the Veterans Equal Access amendment as part of the 2018 Military Construction in California. Local county and state policy-makers must adopt and implement an equal access initiative to provide this much needed medicine to over 1.6M Veterans in California alone. Local "seed-to-sale" solutions are needed to sustain the Veteran community medical cannabis needs while providing funded and targeted research and development initiatives specific to Veteran-based medical conditions.
