There's been a lot of backlash from Thomas & Friends fans all over the internet when the new "Faster and Steeper" line of engines and the new track system were revealed, and were falsely claimed to be "More Realistic". Now should be their chance to contact Fisher-Price themselves in relation to downgrading from "Track Master" back to "TrackMaster". Halt production of the new toyline and re-use all the old molds, and downgrade new releases like Gator, Timothy, Logan, etc. to the old format. Revert to the old track system, there's no use in including adaptors in the sets if the engines will never run on older track systems, unless the activation tabs on the undercarriage are filed. Certain redesigns of locomotives like Henry, Diesel 10 and (Especially) Edward are completely distorted, with Edward's traction rods being too long, making him look like an 0-6-0. Henry's firebox is overly wide and the front of his driver's cab is completely hidden, Diesel 10 looks more like some Chuggington toy and still has only 4 wheels. Not to mention, the age range has also been downgraded from 3+ to 3-6. What's with Mattel hating on Adult Thomas fans?!? That shouldn't be any bother whatsoever!! Just because a franchise like this is Appropriate for kids, Does NOT always mean that it should be forced to be something that is "Kids only". More realistic?! Yeah, unpainted buffers, Squashed appearances that look nothing like the TV characters, Gear-like driving wheels, no white footplates, Sure is.
