Protect people that report violent crime.

The Constitution gives us the right to be confronted by a witness against us. This is a good thing and fair. But somehow the law has become that if someone perpetrates violence upon you and you go to court the aggressor gets the victim's home address, under that Constitutional right.
When most people find out that the person that assaulted or bullied them is going to get their home address they withdraw the complaint.
Even worse; You shoot a gangbanger robbing your house and threatening your life. His gang will get your home address and it's Constitutional this law says???
