As Brooklin grows in population, I think Brooklin needs more recreational places in order to progress into a larger town. This skate park will only make our town grow for the better.
Me and my friends always like having a fun session at the skate park. We also like when we progress and learn lots of new tricks. But when those cold months come with the snow we cannot ride and have fun together anymore. Their are indoor skate parks but there an hour to 4 hours of a drive and that means I cannot pursue my passion and do what i like to do. Like watch this video of me and my friends landing new tricks and having fun in the summer. Like look what it looks like in the winter. Also in 2016 2, 14 year old kids wanted an indoor skate park in Brooklin and they started a petition and over 5000 people supported the it. instead of not being active over the winter you can be in a warm, indoor skate park, having a great time with your friends. The final reason is that they could make money and put it toward taxes so they don't have to take money from the school and their programs.
