On March 28, 2019,KDHE received information that Licensee was not providing adequate supervision to children in care. A welfare check was performed by the Wellington Police Department at Licensee's group day care home. Police verified that actions pose an imminent risk to the children in care. K.S.A. 65-524 authorizes the Secretary to suspend a license to operate a day care home prior to a hearing. Due to facts this emergency order of Suspension is issued immediately. My concerns is the Wellington Police Department have no proof that the actions pose an imminent risk to the children in care. The Wellington Police department never once came into the group daycare home of Amys Little Farm to look around. Standing on the porch only using their power to bully the 5,4, and 2 year old that waiting on parents at the end of the day and using their power to destroy the person I've worked so hard to be. The verrification and proof they have is nothing more than their word over mine. What I'd like to see happen now is for this order to stop and for me to try to save my face and daycare n this community. I've raised my four kids by myself and worked with children for over twenty years. Children are my world and taking them away from me is the worst thing a person can do. Now I have no income or job. My reputation is ruined and the Wellington Police Department has harrassed and ruined my daycare.
