Re-instate the use of Rose and Crown, Wells pub garden after 11pm

Due to a single household complaint, the garden of the Rose and Crown Pub in St John Street, Wells is now out of bounds to patrons after 11pm. The complaint has meant that the landlords are currently required to close the garden completely at 11pm forcing patrons into St John Street to smoke if warranted after this time and stopping their enjoyment of using the pub's best facility. The landlord, Dave Poetti, has run a very successful establishment for the last 11+ years and always ensures all residents and customers are happy. This situation is causing the visitors to the Rose and Crown to leave early, is losing trade for the landlords and is unacceptable to all except this one complainant.
Please help us by signing the petition to ask Mendip District Council to lift this ridiculous restriction and get the Rosie back to the way it has been for many years, for the pleasure of many people.
