Coach Phillips for Our Girls

At Dymally High School we have an awesome Coach (Phillips) . We know she is the best for the job because we trust her and know she can help us have an awesome season. Coach Phillips is caring and has a great rapport with all the students on campus. She was the volunteer assistant coach last year and ensured that we were safe at all times. Coach Phillips is the only reason we continued to play our season last year. Without her encouragement and powerful words we would have given up and walked away from basketball and never looked back. She is not only a great coach on the court but also off the court. Coach Phillips is loved by every player both old and new. She is the best person for this job hands down.She was told that she would be the coach for the 2017-18 school year. However, they hired another Coach (Ross) . He makes all of us girls very uncomfortable and uneasy,and we, as a team, wonder why he was dismissed from his last job, but our Assistant Principal doesn't understand this and won't listen to reason. We have expressed it to our parents as well and they agree that Coach Phillips is whom they would prefer for the job.
