Miss Hottie was viciously attacked just over 2 weeks ago, sustaining horrific injuries having had her head sliced open and being slashed all down the right hand side of her neck. Her attacker was unseen and is unknown. Her distressed owner called the Sheriff's department only to be told that this was a Humane Society Issue and they would contact the Humane Society for Miss Hottie's owner...time passed and there was no call. When Miss Hottie's owner managed to contact the Humane Society, they said they knew nothing about the attack. We want the Sheriff to take this horrific attack seriously and give it the attention it needs to track down who did this heinous crime.
To the Sheriff, Montgomery County, near Grady Alabama,
We, the citizens of the world feel that Hottie and her owner deserve a thorough investigation into the horrific attack Hottie was subject to, and a serious attempt to find the attacker.
In addition to this, we feel that Hottie's owner should be given some protection against possible further attacks in the future.

Hi Everyone, I want to thank you so much for your warm wishes and support, on behalf of Miss Hottie. Here is an update from the Facebook Page (see below) dated 6/10/14. I will now end the petition and deliver it.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOU CALLS, EMAILS ETC....... THE HUMANE SOCIETY HAS MADE CONTACT AND WILL BE CONTINUING AN INVESTIGATION ONCE THE REPORT IS FILED.
