Fire Frank Sauls of Wayne County Animal Services

Frank Sauls, the manager of Wayne County Animal Services in N. Carolina, needs to be relieved of his duties immeadiately, for going after an individual, who acted in the best interests of animals during Hurricane Florence. Tammie Hedges opened her unfinished wearhouse to save several animals from possibly drowning or fleeing during the recent hurricane. She operates a non profit rescue and used her ability to take that extra step and help during the devastation. Animal services is after her for not having a permit yet for the use of the wearhouse. They should be praising her. Not only did she help, but by taking in these animals their focus should have remained on other situations. Wayne County Animal services is also reaching for the stars to get her on charges of practicing veterinary medicine without a license. Tammie Hedges cares for animals 365 days a year and has medical knowledge of what to do in an emergency. Preventing pain or an infection during a dire situation, when there is no access to medical care is necessary. This is an invalid witch hunt against an individual. This case should be thrown out of court along with the removal of Frank Sauls from his abuse of his public position.

The charges against Tammie Hedges have been dropped. She still has to deal with the vet board. Hopefully, they will consider everything resolved. As more unfolds updates will follow.
