If you saw the news or looked on social media, Donald Trump has buried a federally-mandated climate change study by releasing it on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving — saying he "didn't believe it".
"You're going to have to have China and Japan and all of Asia and all these other countries, you know, it [the report] addresses our country, Right now we're at the cleanest we've ever been and that's very important to me. But if we're clean, but every other place on Earth is dirty, that's not so good. So I want clean air, I want clean water, very important." Trump said.
This is bad news for our world. The president of the United States is ignoring the science and says that he doesn't "believe" that our world is in danger. This kind of stuff should NOT be buried and acted like it isn't serious, we NEED to take action now before it's too late! He's putting our world and us people in danger.
What could happen? Researchers warned that there would be some significant and dangerous changes to our world, including the rise of sea levels, significant impacts on ocean temperatures and acidity, more wildfires, and much more dangerous things that could kill hundreds to thousands, like you and me.
Tell Trump to take action about climate change now! After all, we need a nice planet to live on for the next generations to come and it possibly won't be able to happen if action isn't taken as soon as possible!
