Tougher sentances for Animal abusers

Not only do very little Animal abuse cases reach court, those who do are often fined or in some cases, given a ban to not keep animals for a period of time. We believe that as a nation of animal lovers, those who torture, kill and abuse animals should be punished more seriously, which will also act as a deterrent from other people doing the same. Some of the worse recent abuse cases include a Dog burnt to death for fowling in the wrong place and kittens thrown against the wall for fun.......neither were sentenced to prison, a tag or forced to pay any fines.
