Hello, I'm a student from Henry Sibley, a senior this year, who will be taking PSEO classes directly after my regular classes at Sibley at the Minneapolis Collage of Art and Design. It is essential that I have a car so I can transport myself, my parents have a very busy work schedule. I am also in a program at Sibley where I get reduced lunch because of my parents income and so forth, making it difficult for me to pay for gas already. This sudden change of date for the proposed bike trail along Warrior Drive is going to be an extreme setback to me and others that I know who need to be able to have a place to park. The secondary free lot will fill quickly, leaving me with no option but to park several blocks away. This is a hindrance to someone who will only have a 45 minute window to eat lunch and make the 30 minute drive from classes at Sibley to classes at MCAD. I can prove any facts about myself that I have provided. I am also prepared to rally as many students as I can to sign a petition postponing the project until next spring, and I am also prepared to form a protest on September 1st.
