Gwinnett County School's snow day makeup plan

  • destinataire: Please don't extend the school day by a 1/2 hour!! There has to be another option.

Gwinnett County's plan to increase the school day is going to have a negative impact on teacher, parents and students.

Parents in Gwinnett County are urging you to please reconsider your decision.  An extra 30 minutes added to the end of the school day will not have a positive effect.  It will change everybody's schedule.  It will have a negative effect on businesses that are geared to help children.  Music schools, dance schools, tutoring and other after school activities will be effected.  Please find another way to make up for lost instructional time.
