Marco Rubio: How Can You Still Support Trump?

Dear Marco: You are not ignorant. You are not new to this. And you are not confused about who Donald Trump is.

You once warned the country that Donald Trump was unfit for office. You described his behavior as dangerous, reckless, and un-American. You spoke openly about the harm he could do to our democracy.

And yet, today, you are helping him wreak havoc with our democracy, our nation, and the world. You offer support, cover, and even amplification as Trump attacks democratic institutions, spreads lies, glorifies political violence, and places his personal grievances above the rule of law.

How can you do it?  Do you have any sense of shame or decency left at all? Even a teeny bit of courage? When did you become an invertebrate?  

History will remember who spoke up when it mattered and who chose career safety over conscience. You've made some spectacularly awful choices the last few years.  Now it's time to do what you know is right.
