Demand Provo City add non-discrimination language for Freedom Festival Funding

We call on PROVO CITY to stand up and be counted among those who refuse to participate in an organization that discriminates against the lgbtq community and other groups that are often marginalized in our community. We call on PROVO CITY to renegotiate the terms with the freedom festival with regard to using TAXPAYER DOLLARS to help fund, in part, many freedom festival events held during the summer in our city. We call on PROVO CITY to follow UTAH COUNTY’S lead by adding a non- discrimination clause for the dispersement of PUBLIC FUNDS for a PUBLIC FESTIVAL. We, the citizens citizens of Provo and our many surrounding communities ask PROVO CITY to cease funding for the Freedom Festival if the Freedom Festival doesn’t agree to a non-discrimination ordinance to participate in their many activities for all.
