Tell Governor DeSantis: Fix Florida’s Unemployment System Now

The Coronavirus crisis has shown us that many things need improvement in Florida. One is that our unemployment system is broken and failing workers at a time when they need it most.

Only 6.6% of the 1.7 million Floridians who have filed for unemployment since March 15 have received their benefits. It's unacceptable!

The FL GOP admitted the system was designed to make it "harder for people to get benefits." Not to mention, Florida's unemployment benefits are among the lowest in the nation at $275 a week

We must do more for the millions of Floridians now out of work, struggling to pay for their most basic needs.
