Help promote a safe environment for pedestrians & cyclists in downtown Greenville: Allow a crosswalk at River St. and West Court St.

Pedestrians are constantly crossing back and forth at this highly trafficked location, whether it be to access their office, walk home, walk to the local theatre, connect to the Swamp Rabbit Trail, explore downtown and many other activities.

The number of pedestrians and cyclists using this area as their own crosswalk continues to increase. Furthermore, traffic has greatly increased on River St. over the past few years, making it more and more dangerous for pedestrians to cross.

We are asking the City of Greenville to add a crosswalk to this intersection so that office professionals, theatre-goers, apartment residents, strolling pedestrians, visitors and locals alike can enjoy their everyday commute without feeling unsafe when they need to cross the street.
