Automakers: Stop fighting cleaner cars!

States representing more than 50 percent of the country are fighting for the right to require new cars and trucks to pollute less — reducing tailpipe emissions and helping consumers save money at the pump.

But guess who has stepped in to block states from trying to make autos run cleaner? Some of our nation's biggest automakers.

Toyota, GM, Nissan, Fiat, Chrysler, Kia, Hyundai, and Subaru have all signed on with the White House to weaken the Clean Air Act.

The White House is rolling back federal standards— and even further, it's trying to block states from trying to make new autos run cleaner and more efficiently!

The largest share of global warming-causing greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S. comes from fossil fuels burned for our cars, trucks and other transportation. Join the growing movement of consumers who want cleaner vehicles that help combat climate change and save money at the pump.
