DNC, Don't Be Hypocrites - Encourage Your Campaign Workers to Unionize

The Campaign Workers Guild has begun organizing some campaign staffs around the country, and is finding resistance from the Democratic leadership. Even progressive candidates are balking at a request to pay their workers a living wage.

Let's not be hypocrites, Democrats. The party thrives because of the support of unions, and now the party ought to live up to the very values it claims to represent.

We encourage the Democratic National Committee to support efforts to unionize and to negotiate with the CGW in the future to make a living wage standard for all of its campaign workers.
