Rep. Ed Whitfield (R-KY) and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) have joined forces to draft legislation that would essentially allow unlimited carbon pollution from power plants.
While the EPA is tirelessly working to finally put national limits on carbon pollution from America's power plants, this bill would block them at every turn.

This draft legislation creates a huge utility industry loophole in our clean air laws, essentially allowing unlimited carbon pollution from power plants.
Carbon pollution leads to more asthma attacks for children, drought for farmers, and the devastating effects of extreme weather events.
Don't let this bill prevent us from taking moderate, prudent steps necessary for avoiding the climate crisis.
