Demand the NIH begin conducting nationwide clinical trials on the effectiveness of medical marijuana on treating cancer

After seeing that cannabis shows incredible promise in treating cancer (see: https://www.woahstork.com/blog/cannabis-cancer-treatment/), there is no reason that the NIH shouldn't be actively funding cannabis research studies at major universities.

Even if these studies are limited to states that allow medical marijuana, the promise that this drug holds is too powerful to not launch a large-scale clinical trial.
