Stand up for abortion providers

All across Ohio, abortion providers face threats, intimidation, and violence. Anti-abortion extremists — like the group "Created Equal" — mount targeted intimidation campaigns to make providers and their families afraid for their safety.

These groups distribute leaflets with doctors' personal information, like home addresses and phone numbers, and call them "killers" and "murderers." These extremist groups encourage their followers to harass abortion providers, with the goal of getting them to shut down their clinics or stop performing abortions out of fear.

Anti-abortion extremist groups use poisonous rhetoric to inspire threats, as well as actual acts of violence and vandalism perpetrated at health care centers and at providers' homes.
