Demand justice for Elmo the dog, systematically abused by its owner and nearly every bone broken in his body.

Elmo the dog was abused by his owner for years, every bone in his body was broken, even his toes.

On the 26 of January this year in Liverpool, England, his owner dumped him in a cemetery to die. He was rescued but had to be put down as in such pain. The vet was shocked to have seen the dogs four legs, paws, hip and shoulder bones were broken and left unset for months maybe years . The dog was in agony. The beautiful dog was so gentle it was licking the vet staff before his euthanasia.

The pain he suffered was unbearable and we must fight together to stop this happening again.I will present this petition to the local MP and Head of Police personally in the area the dog was from to secure justice for Elmo and to punish his owner and prevent him doing this again.

The dogs owner only received a three month suspended sentence for her actions which is quite frankly pathetic. Please keep signing as I will try get the magistrate to review their decision. A harder sentence should be given.

More information regarding the sentence and story can be found on the Wirral Globe website. Thanks to all who signed. Well done!

The person that causesd this suffering has now been caught and prosecuted. Apparently the dog had a serious arthritis condition which caused it's bones to break but the owner was scared to take the dog to the vet as it was her only friend she said, and did not want him euthanized. She has been given a three month suspended sentence and banned from keeping dogs for ten years.
