Tell Christy Clark that families shouldn't pay for a billion-dollar blunder

Families are already squeezed from a 28% hydro rate hike. Now the BC Liberals are covering up a billion-dollar blunder that could saddle every BC family and business with a $500 hike.

Hard-working British Columbians shouldn't have to pay for Christy Clark's mistakes; we need to end the BC Liberal mismanagement of BC Hydro.

Since Premier Clark came to power, her government has run a cumulative $300 million deficit. Without BC Hydro and ICBC net income, the deficit would have been $4.1 billion.

We the ratepayers now owe BC Hydro $5.9 billion. No other government misuses a utility this way and to this extent. BC Hydro and the Clark government have no plan other than future rate increases to address this debt.
